Anne Curtis Smith, a Filipino Australian model-actress TV host, entrepreneur and recording artist has been awarded numerous accolades throughout her professional career. These include two FAMAS Awards one Luna Award and two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards. Her film work has led to her nominated for 8 PMPC Star Awards in the Cinemas category as well as the two Gawad Urian Awards. Curtis starred on several TV shows, such as Hiram kampanerang Kuba (2005) Maging Sino Ka Man Dyosa 2008 Green Rose 2011 and Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw 2013. In Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel she played Komiks famous character Dyesebel. Also, she was the host of It's Showtime the noontime variety show (2009-2020). Anne Curtis was born in Melbourne, Australia on 17th of February in 1985. She is a Filipina as well as an Australian actress. Her achievements include numerous awards throughout her career including the two FAMAS Awards a Luna Award two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards and five PMPC Star Awards for Television. In addition, she was nominated twice for Gawad Urian Awards in addition to the eight PMPC Star Awards in the Movies. Curtis has appeared in a variety of television programs, including Hiram, Maging Sino Dyosa and Green Rose. In 2014, Curtis played the iconic Komiks Dyesebel character in Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel. Her other roles include hosting the show that aired at midday, Showtime from 2009-2020. Curtis was a Filipina born from Bolinao Pangasinan. Her father is an Australian Lawyer named James Ernest Curtis Smith. Her father wed Ojales, a Filipina from Bolinao Pangasinan in 1982. The youngest brother Jasmine was also an actor. On their father's side they had a half-sister called Clare who died in 2007 from a heart disease when she was 4 months of age.
