Ford vanished for some time from the world of rock after the releases of the two albums. The smash hit album Lita which came out in 1989, was the catalyst that led to her reemergence. The hit single, 'Kiss Me Deadly as well as the ballad "Close My Eyes forever" were both big hits. However, the success of her music was short-lived, and she vanished from the industry for several years. The release of "Black" to the public in 1995 followed 'Wicked Wonderland, almost 15 year after. She released her latest album in 2016, titled 'Time Capsule.
