Dina Meyer is a New York native who was brought up within Forest Hills Queens. She made the move into Dix Hills Long Island just when she was finishing her high school junior year. She has two younger siblings as well as an elder brother. Between the ages of nine and 16 Her first introduction to the industry was when she first began modeling. Ron Stetson taught her the Sanford Meisner acting technique at The Neighborhood Playhouse. Sandra Bullock and Michael Douglas were among other actors that received this education. Her first role was in the soap-opera Beverly Hills, 90210, which required her to move out to Los Angeles. After being offered the lead part for Johnny Mnemonic where she did all of the stunts herself, she positioned herself as an actress athletic. Her talent agent was also representing Matt LeBlanc so, through her agent, she was able to get a regular role on Friends.
