Keeley Hawes (born in England) is an English actor and producer best famous for her work on the show Line of Duty. She has also been nominated for BAFTA awards with her performances on Bodyguard and Mrs Wilson. She has been praised for the work she did in The Durrells and It's a Sin, as well as The Missing. Hawes first became famous in her role in the BBC series Tipping the Velvet. Later she was a part of the thriller Spooks Spooks, and the crime thriller Ashes to Ashes. Hawes began her career in the world of cinema by voicing Avengers the film, which debuted in 1998. Since then, she has been featured and on other movies like Death at a Funeral Misbehaviour or To Olivia. She has also lent her voice to Lara Croft, the lead character of the Tomb Raider video game franchise (in seven versions). From 2020 to 2021 she was an executive producer on the TV shows Honour as well as Finding Alice. Alongside her work in television and film, she also has experience performing in theatre.
